The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program  is a short scuba tryout experience for adults and children ages 10 and up. This introduces you to the basics of diving, but does not certify you as a diver. DSD is usually a day or half-day activity, so it's a great option if you've been thinking about trying SCUBA for a while but don't have a lot of time during your vacation. It's also perfect for gaining confidence on the water before jumping straight into the full course.
